Your generous contributions helped make our dental mission to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic a huge success. During the week of March 24-31 Matt Vaillant DDS and Justin Swanson DDS, with the support of a team from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville, provided dental care to 80 students in grades K-8 and staff members of Doulos Discovery School. The donations to our trip were overwhelming and allowed us to provide fillings, extractions, sealants, prophylaxis and flouride treatments. We stressed prevention and oral hygiene. The students were given much needed tooth brushes, floss and toothpaste.
Donations that weren’t used were given to a clinic in Jarabacoa run by students international, a mission organization which provides care at minimal to no fee.
Thank you for your support. You made a positive impact on the lives of these needy children in the Dominican Republic.
