Happy Birthday Tempit®-E and Welcome to the Tempit Family!

We’ve made provisional dentistry even easier! Centrix is proud to announce the release of Tempit-E moisture-activated temporary filling and sealing material with Eugenol.

Tempit-E is identical to our Tempit material but with the addition of eugenol. The palliative eugenol formulation is perfect for temporary filling use, especially in cases of reversible pulpal inflammation. The anti-inflammatory and local anesthetic effects help facilitate pulpal healing and, because Tempit-E is moisture activated, it sets in less than five minutes. The material expands slightly when set to seal out microleakage and bacterial ingress and can also be used as a liner in deep preparations.

Tempit-E has joined the Tempit Family of filling and sealing materials. We offer the right material for each clinical application.

• Tempit – For Endo access cavity sealing. Moisture activated, expands slightly to completely seal any opening.
• Tempit-E – Tempit with Eugenol. Provides relief from pain and discomfort in primary and permanent teeth.
• Tempit L/C – Inlay/onlay indirect restorations. Sets firm but flexible so it can be plucked off the restoration with an instrument; no bur required.
• Tempit Ultra-F – Long term restorations. Harder wearing for long-term cases and bruxers. Also, ideal as a tooth-colored restorative material for deciduous teeth (prior to exfoliation).
