Tempit Family
Just as permanent restorations demand specific materials for different needs, temporary restorations also have different requirements, demanding the right material for each case.
Centrix offers four specific and proven temporary filling material formulas, providing optimal results in any clinical situation. Each Tempit product is packaged in pre-filled unit-dose tips so it can be delivered precisely and perfectly every time, directly into the prep using any Centrix C/R Gun.
Select the right Tempit formula for each case and inject into the prep: Tempit Original (for endo access openings & short-term temps), Tempit-E (same as Original with added eugenol), Tempit L/C (for indirect restorations), Tempit Ultra (Rigid for longer-term preps) and Tempit Ultra-F (same as Tempit Ultra with added fluoride). This unique delivery system requires no mixing, spatulation or messy placement. Tempit saves time, reduces waste and provides the right filling material for each patient’s need and every temporary application.

FAQs
Tempit should be stored in its original jar along with the included desiccant packet, which will continue to absorb any moisture present. Because Tempit is moisture activated, the material may prematurely harden if exposed to any moisture.
As Tempit is a moisture activated material, it is important to keep the prefilled tubes dry. If exposed to excessive humidity or moisture, the material will set or harden in the tip. Make sure to keep Tempit in its original packaging with the desiccant to prevent premature drying.
Yes you can use with baby teeth. Remember Tempit sets under moisture. It will not be absorbed, but it will wash out over time.
Tempit is not absorbable by the body.
Tempit is a “medium” viscosity which is similar to Cavit’s white formula.
You can use any Centrix C-R Syringe. For ease of use, we recommend the Snap-Fit Syringe.
