The interproximal finishing and polishing tool, GripStrip, is coated with a high percentage of ultrafine diamond abrasives for fast and exact shaping, finishing and polishing of proximal surfaces. The diamond particles enhance the aesthetic of the restoration producing a smoother surface and a pleasant, life-like reflectance and luster. Easy-to-grip handles allow for easy manipulation and precise control to restore the natural tooth morphology and enamel-like smoothness. What’s more, the handle shape helps to easily identify the correct GripStrip for the appropriate clinical case: Coarse, Medium, Fine and Medium Mini (best for anterior use).
GripStrip features two diamond grit combinations – more abrasive grit for faster shaping and finishing, and less abrasive grit for smoothing and polishing. The reverse side of each strip is smooth to protect the adjacent tooth and intact enamel. Those surfaces will not be exposed to abrasion during the procedure. For very tight contacts, a wedge helps create space between the teeth during insertion and removal, and the Abrasive Free Zone makes it possible to slide through contacts without abrading intact enamel.
PRACTICAL TIPS:
- For tight contacts, insert a wedge to create a slight separation between the teeth
- GripStrip Fine should be used for polishing, stain removal
- GripStrip Coarse has a perforated design, ideal for gross reduction and ortho space creation
- To protect contacts, always insert and remove GripStrip at the smooth Free Zone

GripStrip is made of a flexible and durable stainless steel that allows for easy finishing and restoring of the natural contours of the tooth. The strips can be autoclaved after each procedure for repeated use.
