Industry Firsts
"When I started Centrix over 50 years ago with the introduction of the C-R® Syringe and the first-ever disposable tubes and plugs, my only goal was to invent products that would make the art of dentistry easier."
Since those early days in my kitchen, we have been fortunate to invent many products that have changed the way dentistry is practiced, including the original power handle syringe, pre-filled capsules for light-activated composites, and the revolutionary Benda® Brush, to name just a few. And now, with over 140 employees worldwide and growing, I am extremely excited about the next 35 years.
While I’ve been fortunate enough to invent many products on my own, Centrix has also developed innovative products from dental professionals just like yourself. Over the past many years, I have personally helped several of my colleagues nurture the seeds of an idea and brought the product to market through Centrix.

GripStrip – Medium Mini
GripStrip Proximal Finishing and Polishing Strips have a diamond-coated design to provide precision finishing and polishing for restorations in proximal areas. Because our strips contain two working areas of different grit sizes – a coarser grit for stripping and removing material, and a finer grit for polishing – you can finish and polish with only one strip.
2014

NoMIX Temporary Cement is a moisture-activated, non-eugenol, temporary, white cement designed for short-term cementation of crowns and bridges. It is fully compatible with all acrylics, composites, ceramics and metals. NoMix is a single component cement that requires no mixing, no spatulation, no mess, no waste. It expands slightly upon setting for a tight seal.
2013
GripStrip – Fine & Coarse
GripStrip Proximal Finishing and Polishing Strips have a diamond-coated design to provide precision finishing and polishing for restorations in proximal areas. Because our strips contain two working areas of different grit sizes – a coarser grit for stripping and removing material, and a finer grit for polishing – you can finish and polish with only one strip.

2009
Encore D/C MiniMix
Our single-dose Encore D/C MiniMix kit contains 36 cartridges. Each cartridge has two mixing nozzles and our exclusive needletip. Our product is dual-cure, for fast light-activation. Plus, the smaller size and ease of use will save you valuable chair time and reduce patient stress. Available with fluoride release and in natural and contrast shades.
2009
FluoroDose
FluoroDose features a 5% sodium fluoride, white cavity varnish in the single-use LolliPack package, the maximum allowed fluoride dosage and is FDA-cleared for treating dentinal sensitivity. No more messy gels and uncomfortable trays; no more inherent worry of fluoride ingestion. Dip. Mix. Brush. Throw away. Centrix makes fluoride varnish safer and cleanup easier.
*FluoroDose Caramel was introduced in 2015.
2008
RapidCore MiniMix
The first unit-dose, automix core buildup material with fluoride. This self-cure composite resin provides complete depth of cure, without light activation in only two minutes. Unit-dose dispensing provides for the fastest core buildup, without a heavy, clumsy automix syringe; and MiniMix technology virtually eliminates waste.
2007
Snub Nose Syringe
The same technology and design used in our Snap-Fit Syringe — just a shorter barrel.
2007
Snap-Fit Syringe
Snap-Fit improves placement of materials by locking any tube into any position. Tubes “snap” in without a plunger, and once material is placed, empty tubes “snap” out.
2007
Exposé
Exposé is a caries indicator built into an applicator and dispensing system! The detector solution is pre-applied to our Benda Micro applicators. Apply Exposé simply by touching a wet tooth surface, and Exposé stains infected dentin. No dispensing, no dripping, no mess! Exposé eliminates the dreaded mess of bulk containers or brush-tipped syringes. At Centrix we make dentistry easier.
2007
RapidCore
It’s easy. Simply inject RapidCore through the exclusive mixing nozzle needletip and you are ready to cut the prep in two minutes. Achieve high bond strengths when used with a compatible bonding agent. RapidCore’s advanced thixotropic formula flows smoothly through the needle yet will not slump, making core forms and matrix bands unnecessary.
2006
LubeCube
Put an end to composite stickiness, pull-back and unnecessary voids. With LubeCube, simply peel off the adhesive back, stick it to a surface and slide your instrument tip through the slit. The cleaning and lubricating action will allow you to shape with ease. At Centrix, we make dentistry easier.
2005
GingiTrac Retraction System
Still simply syringe the retraction paste into the sulcus with our patented NeedleTip™, and apply bite pressure with a GingiCap. Working time 1:30. GingiTrac’s built-in astringent controls oozing, while the flow-able Vinyl Polysiloxane material gently pushes the gingiva.
2004
NoMIX Temporary Cement
NoMIX Temporary Cement is a moisture-activated, non-eugenol, temporary, white cement designed for short-term cementation of crowns and bridges. It is fully compatible with all acrylics, composites, ceramics and metals. NoMix is a single component cement that requires no mixing, no spatulation, no mess, no waste. It expands slightly upon setting for a tight seal.
2003
D/Sense Crystal
D/Sense Crystal is a one-step, dual-action gel desensitizer and cavity liner. It reacts with dentin to precipitate microcrystals of calcium oxalate and potassium nitrate. These crystals penetrate deeply into the tubules and seal the dentinal surface with a continuous, acid-resistant complex (typically less than 3 microns thick).
2001
SuperCure
Build a high-strength core faster with SuperCure. Inject direct from pre-filled syringe tip to mouth. Light activate to a dentin-like hardness. Just place a tip of SuperCure light-activated core buildup material in your Centrix syringe and inject. There’s no mixing, no wasteful automix nozzles, and no cross-contamination. Stacks beautifully, without slump, so matrices are not required.
2000
Access Crown
Sets to an elastic-like state, ready for removal from the mouth in just one minute. The primary clinical advantage of this bis-acryl composite is its elastic behavior during polymerization. This memory will allow you to pull it from undercuts or non-parallel tooth preparations and return it to its original form.
1999
LolliCaine
LolliCaine topical anesthetic features a 20% benzocaine gel in the single-use LolliPack® package. Each unit contains one single dose (0.3ml) of LolliCaine gel plus one clean swab applicator. Simply peel back the cover, dip in the swab applicator and apply.
